Consolidated Carpark Height Limits

If there are information here that is outdated or incorrect, please feel free to leave a comment.

List of carparks that I personally tried: (All heights recorded are true and valid on that day of posting. Do not assume the height to remain the same forever and enter all carparks at YOUR OWN RISKS!)

    • 313@Somerset - 2.4m
    • Autobacs @ Ubi - 2.4m
    • Bishan Junction 8 - 1.9m (But my vehicle of 1.9m can still go in with at least 5cm allowance. I see lorries like Nissan Cabstar, Toyota Dyna, Toyota Hiace, Nissan Urvan all can go in with no problem)
    • Cavenagh Lodge - 2.0m
    • Cape Royale @ Sentosa Cove - Cove Way - 2.2m
    • Changi Airport T2 - 1.9m (HIACE can go in, but go in at your OWN RISK as I saw some lorries canopies hit the height barrier upon entering.)
    • Comcenter - 1.9m
    • Crown Center - 2.0m @ 21 July 2015
    • Far East Plaza Carpark A - 2.0m
    • Far East Plaza Carpark B - 1.9m
    • Floridian Condominium - 2.2m
    • Forum Shopping Mall - 2.0 or 2.1m
    • Four Seasons Hotel - 1.9m (But my vehicle of 1.9m can still go in with at least 5cm allowance. I see lorries like Nissan Cabstar, Toyota Dyna, Toyota Hiace, Nissan Urvan all can go in with no problem)
    • Gleneagles Hospital / Medical Centre - 2.0m
    • Golden Mile Complex - 1.8m
    • Hougang Mall - 2.1m
    • Horizon Gardens - 2.0m
    • Jurong Point - 2.0m @ 14 August 2015
    • Katong Gardens - 2.0m
    • KK Hospital - 2.0m
    • Leonie Hill Condo - 1.95m (But when I drive in with vehicle height of 1.9, I measured an allowance of about 20cm. BUT DO TAKE CAUTION as the 1.95m could be for certain area with pipes overhanging.)
    • MacRitchie Reservoir Carpark - 2.0m
    • Manhattan House - 2.2m (But I noticed that there are several spots have low-lying pipes, better to treat it as 2.0m to be safe.) @ 02 August 2015
    • Marina Square - 1.9m (Exact)
    • Miramar Hotel - 2.0m
    • Mt Alvernia Hospital - 2.2m
    • myVillage @ Serangoon Gardens - 2.2m @ 30 July 2015
    • M Hotel - 2.02m
    • Novotel Singapore / Liang Court (they share the same carpark) - Ok this is going to be tricky. The height limit bar outside states 1.8m. But actual measurement, yes I went to measure it personally, its about 2m. BUT, according to the person in charge, the Upper Level carparks are really very low at 1.8m. SO DO NOT ENTER UPPER LEVEL CARPARK if your car is higher than 1.8m. Basement carpark yes, 1.95m still can go in despite the stated height limit of 1.8m. And when inside the BASEMENT carpark, there are a few lots that states LOW OVERHEAD, do not park at these lots. Generally the entire basement carpark is fine except some low lying sprinkler pipes which is at 1.99m +/-. So in conclusion, MPVs of 1.9m and lorries/vans, enter BASEMENT carpark only BUT AT YOUR OWN RISK. @ 11 July 2015
    • Orchard Central / Orchard Gateway - 2.2m @ 17 July 2015
    • Plaza Singapura - 2m (Latest update, credits to Sheevonne Toh: 2.1m @ May 2015)
    • Roxy Square - 1.9m (no problem going in) @ 20 July 2015
    • SAFRA Toa Payoh - 2.2m
    • Serangoon NEX Shopping Mall - 2.0m
    • Six Battery Road - 2m
    • Takashimaya - 1.9m (But my vehicle of 1.9m can still go in with at least 10cm allowance. I see lorries like Nissan Cabstar, Toyota Dyna, Toyota Hiace, Nissan Urvan all can go in with no problem)
    • Tanglin Mall - 2.0m
    • Tanglin Shopping Center - 1.7m (there's a loading bay beside this with higher limit)
    • Tate Residences - 2.2m

    Introduction

Main Objective of this blog is to consolidate information regarding carpark height limits in Singapore. As I recently acquired a taller than usual MPV, I had been encountering problems with carpark heigh limits of 1.9mtrs and below. So hopefully this will serve as important information to all SUVs/MPVs/Vans & Lorries drivers.

Some information about my car: Toyota Vellfire 2013 Model. Stock, no mod. Listed height 1.90m. Appears to be same (+/-) as Vans and Class 3 Lorries (cabin height only, not including the extended canopy)

    Stay safe!
